Gates are a blacksmiths blank canvas, an opportunity to create function and design in the form of wrought (meaning worked/forged) iron. By taking a heavy solid state and transcending it in to a delicate, organic, fluid form with the might and force of hammers, tools and ancient techniques inherited from masters of the craft.
