Studying with NHIG
A reproduced crown for the 17th centuryTijou screen at Hampton Court palace, made by Adam Baillie.
What an opportunity it was studying conservation of heritage ironwork with the National Heritage Ironwork Group (www.nhig.org.uk) I feel totally blessed having had the experience and was massively motivating to get me started in my own business and continue to raise the standards of blacksmithing in this country. It was an incredible journey with an invaluable wealth of skills and knowledge, working with the very best blacksmiths and conservators on the country’s finest ironwork. Always grateful to all of the organisers and placement providers.
